I’m sitting on my bed watching lectures and taking notes on my Qur’an course, my cat is lying on my feet purring, the temperature is perfect; not too hot but there is a nice breeze coming in from the window, and a warm cup of earl gray tea.

I’m taking this online course called: Exploring the Qur’an: An Explanation of the Book of God, I’ll try and upload my notes from the course as much as I can.

When I was nine my uncle got married and my mom had this beautiful dress hand tailored for me. It was lilac silk on the inside, then this lilac lace on top, then these two silk pieces that you would tie as a bow in the back (they always came undone for me) and it was so perfect. Even though it hasn’t fit me for ages I always kept it, on top of the closet in my bedroom. Sometimes I would take it out and try and put it on, try.

Well, today, my cat peed on it.

I’m really upset, I’ve been asking my mom to get him neutered for months now because once he gets older he’ll have an urge to mark his “territory”.

It’s ruined. 

Some of you may remember me as despitehardships, misandristkitten or Maleeha.

I deleted my previous blog for a number of reasons, one of which was that I did not like the way my old blog was going and I wanted a more Islam appropriate blog. Also I kinda just wanted to start all over.

And I had gotten too many followers which for some reason equaled disgusting anons. I prefer quality over quantity.

I’m back now and I’m probably not going to update as much, but when I do it’s just going to be Islam related text posts mainly and details about my life.
